Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolyline

Description: The High-Injury Network (HIN) dataset was developed based on crash data from 2019-2023. A sliding windows analysis was used and an additional modal HIN for commercial vehicles/large trucks was analyzed. In previous HIN data not all TxDOT facilities were included, as the City was most concerned with city streets and TxDOT facilities for which we have maintenance responsibilities. Per the SS4A grant, the data was required to include all roads regardless of ownership. Columns pedestrian_2 through overall_hi are the modal HIN attributes. True/False(1/0) is listed for each feature, with 'True' (1) indicating it is a part of that modal HIN and 'False' (0) indicating it is not a part of the HIN. For additional information contact Chelsea St. Louis in Transportation Management. Also, review the State of Safety Report for additional details.A roadway segment that meets or exceeds the weighted crash score threshold noted for each mode below were included in mode-specific HIN and the overall HIN. The threshold scores used for the Fort Worth Safety Action Plan are as follows:Pedestrian: 5Bicycle: 4Motorcycle: 8Motor Vehicle: 50Commercial Motor Vehicle: 8
